There are no heroes without a story.

A story is about meaning.

A story reveals the meaning that lies within ordinary or extraordinary moments in someone’s life. The stories of heroes are usually about extraordinary moments. They are stories where the meaning is clear, powerful and profound. But what divides the ordinary from the extraordinary? Is the ordinary event simply the common and familiar one? Or does the ordinary become the extraordinary when we find the meaning in it?

After a total eclipse casts its shadow across the globe last April 17, 2009, seemingly calling forth a multitude of every Filipino men and women with special or extraordinary powers, Engr. Milo Torres (Dr. Suresh) a Computer Engineer, a professor from Manila, Philippines, continue his willingness to help those persons searching the real meaning of their abilities and continues to champion his theory that there are Filipinos with special power living in different part of the world, in this time UAE is his target!

April 24, 2009, in REWAQ, Al Qusais Dubai UAE, at around 2 pm in the afternoon, the day after the total eclipse, people with extraordinary powers find themselves under Engr. Milo’s location showing their need and eagerness to respond to their calling “to adventure”, entrusting themselves under the Professor’s care, believing that they will understand themselves better to enhance their powers or abilities and use in proper way…. To serve others …. To save the Philippines…. To save the world….

An indestructible 26-year old Batanguena lady who prefer to hide her ability from her peers to protect her teaching profession, manage to go to Dubai with the help of her bestfriend Marianne Reyes.

A woman with astonishing strength and a dangerous amoral image who struggle so much to find herself and fight for the good side of her. Marianne is married to Peterson Abaya(as Peter Petrelli) a security personnel with the ability to absorb the powers of and very much willing to sacrifice to save others and most especially his one and only woman Marianne.
The couple has this very cheerful young godmother named Ma. Novie Babia (as Hiro Nakamura) from Mindanao with the ability to pierce the space time continuum and in manipulating time has empowered her to change the future.

On the other hand, there is William Fabi (as Matt Parkman) from Manila who attempts to put his ability to hear the thoughts of others to good use. He then also manages to command or manipulate others by the power of his thought/mind.

Marvin Laserna (as Nathan Petrelli) known as the flying man who is very concern about his career that he tries to refuse the call of becoming a hero for the sake of his progressing career, but he failed because still the blood of a real hero is in his nerves just like what others like him have.

The heroes, hearing the “call to adventure”, initially hesitate, reluctant to leave the comfort and tasks of their everyday existence. Perhaps they are afraid of what might happen to them, Perhaps they do not see the call as important, being more engrossed in their current activity. Perhaps they have responsibilities and do not want to leave their family. The refusal may well be prompted by an individual …..

It was April 24, 2009 when their journey starts!….The real adventure begins!
